I worked for many years in the business sector until I made the decision to retrain as a counsellor, completing my diploma in 2013. I use an Integrative approach that focuses on the client and recognises the uniqueness of each person drawing on Person Centred, Cognitive Behavioural and Psychodynamic models. I am an Accredited counsellor with BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) and a qualified Supervisor.
My relationship with Kerith began when I was a student on placement. I continued to volunteer after qualifying whilst working in non-profit and private settings. I was appointed as the Counselling Manager in 2015. In my role as manager, I continue to have the privilege of working within a team of caring and professional people who are committed to supporting those who attend Kerith.
I am married with two adult children and in my free time I enjoy reading, spending time with family and being in the great outdoors.
