'As a result of recent government restrictions in Lanarkshire, Kerith Counselling Service will be temporarily suspending face to face sessions. We are however continuing to work with clients remotely either online or by telephone. Our staff will also be working remotely and will respond to any enquiries or contact to the service as soon as possible.'


Welcome to Kerith Counselling Service Ltd. We are located in the village of East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire, easily accessible by bus and train services. Kerith Counselling Service Ltd is a company limited by guarantee under company No.SC347254 and is also a registered charity (no: SC 032200). It was established in 2001 by a group of people with a vision for meeting a need in their local community. We are available to everyone irrespective of gender, sexual orientation, religion, or ethnic background.

We aim to deliver the best service possible to our clients. Our priority is to value each client’s unique individuality, and with skill, care and compassion enable them to find a way forward towards wholeness, and restoration, reduced confusion, and a return to making decisions; as well as an ability to look to the future in an attitude of hope.

  • Counselling regardless of gender, race, religion, age and sexual
  • A professional service at an affordable cost. A limited number of assisted places are available for those who are unable to make the full financial contribution.

Dedicated Workers and Volunteers

All of our counsellors are trained to a nationally recognised standard, and have gone through a rigorous selection procedure. They receive regular clinical supervision by suitably qualified Supervisors, and are committed to continuous professional development. Our counsellors are either BACP/COSCA accredited or in the process of obtaining this qualification or an equivalent.

All of our volunteer support workers have caught the vision of each persons individuality and want to help clients return to vitality and wholeness.
