Petrina McTear Counselling Manager I completed my Counselling Diploma in July 2009, I studied with Vital Connexions using the Aphesis Model. This incorporates a Person Centred and a Psychodynamic approach to Counselling while looking through a Christian worldview. I have experience of working in a custodial environment, and have an interest in working with prisoners to help them gain insight into offending behaviours with a view to reducing reoffending. I completed my training placement at Kerith and feel privileged to be able to continue working there. The ethos of Kerith provides a safe environment for both client and counsellor to engage in the therapeutic process. I am married and have 4 children. I lead an outreach team in my Church. I love spending time with my family and enjoy reading and listening to music to relax.
