May Gray
May took retirement from the health Service in 1994. She has enjoyed a career in Nursing and Health Visiting which spanned some 20 years with intermittent breaks to care for her children. May and her husband Harry have three children and five grandchildren.
Since her early retirement May has studied Psychology and taken several qualifications in Counselling; this has led to BACP (British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists) Accreditation, and a Certificate in Supervision. May has a preference for an integrative approach to Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Personal Construct Psychology. She has 10 years experience in counselling and Supervision.
During this time May served as Pastoral co-ordinator in Westwood Baptist church for six years. The past three to four years, however, she has been instrumental in setting up Kerith Counselling Service in East Kilbride
