Danny Butcher
I have been involved in Kerith Counselling Service for about three years as a volunteer counsellor. I am currently working towards obtaining a Certificate in Counselling with Church of Scotland Counselling Service.
Over the time I have been working at Kerith I have been involved with a number of people covering a range of reasons for referral. I tend towards an Integrative approach to Person Centred Counselling. My working background is residential care with children, young people and their families. I have worked as a care worker and have substantial experience as a manager of childcare services.
I have a professional social work qualification and at present I work as a lecturer in Social Care in a college for further education.
