Ken Carter
Supervisor
I trained as a counsellor in the early 80’s with the Church of Scotland’s Tom Allen Centre and subsequently undertook a course in Counsellor Supervision organised by the centre.
Although the training was biased towards Psychodynamic Counselling over the years I am more comfortable using an eclectic mix of counselling models.
I took early retirement from my post as Medical Physicist in Glasgow Royal Infirmary 15 years ago and with my wife Ros spent 2 years in Kenya and then a year in Papua New Guinea in pastoral support of Christian Missionaries.
I am enjoying assisting with supervising the work of Kerith’s counsellors and discovering the truth that ”you are never to old to learn.”
We have 4 grandchildren and enjoy our weekly time with them and our regular social tennis sessions at Gorbals Sports Centre.
